H.S.A. NEWS

A HUGE THANK YOU FOR AN INCREDIBLE BLOCK PARTY!

Thank you to everyone who came out Friday night! With a record-breaking 550–600 attendees, this year’s Block Party was one to remember!

An extra-special thank you to our Block Party chairs, Sarah Marcucci and Dr. Reem, for their incredible expertise, creativity, and party-planning magic. And we have to give Sarah an extra shoutout: she doesn’t currently have a child at WHS, but as a proud alumna with children between schools, she continues to show up for this community in a BIG way. Sarah, we are so grateful for your dedication and generosity!\

We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to Hunterdon Pediatric Dentists, Loew & Patel Orthodontics, and Giovanni’s Pizza for their support, flexibility, and generous discounts that support our community!

And finally, to all of our amazing volunteers: thank you for giving your time and energy to make this event such a success! And another special shoutout to Sarah’s parents, Kathy and Dave Moutner who answered the call when we needed more help! We couldn’t have done it without all of you.

What a wonderful way to bring our school community together! ❤️

New! Drill Notification

Dear WHS Parents/Guardians:

Schools in New Jersey are required to conduct security drills once a month during the school year. The law requires school districts to notify students, staff, and parents when a school security drill is conducted during the school day. Additionally, students and staff are notified at the conclusion of the drill that it was just a drill and that no danger exists.

This email is to notify you that Whitehouse School held a security drill at approximately 9:15AM. The routine security drill went smoothly.

Help us Stock the WHS Staff Lounge!

New this year! With many new staff members joining the WHS family, we thought this would be the perfect time to give our Staff Lounge a little refresh!

We’ve created an Amazon Wish List with snacks, drinks, supplies, and other items we think our wonderful WHS staff could enjoy and use throughout the year.

Participation is completely optional, and we appreciate any and all donations that help us make the staff lounge a welcoming space for the people who do so much for our children each day!
